Congratulations!
1st Kelburn 1909 Scout Group’s Centenary Celebrations were held from Friday 4 September to Sunday 6 September 2009.
Nearly 100 old and not so old Scouts, Cubs, Keas, Venturers, Leaders and parents attended.

The Centennial historical publication, including photos of the weekend, will be available shortly before Christmas.

PROGRAMME
Friday 4 September
- 7.00pm Informal evening meet and greet at the Scout Hall
Saturday 5 September
- 10.00am Registration and morning tea at Scout Hall
- 12.00pm BBQ lunch near the Scout Hall
- 1.30pm Official opening
- 1.45pm Group photos, historical displays followed by chariot races and games
- 3.00pm Optional tour of Meteorological Office. The Cable Car Museum will also be open
- 6.30pm Centenary Dinner and entertainment at Skyline Restaurant ($50 for additional person)
Sunday 6 September
- 10.00am optional service at St Michael’s Anglican Church
- 11.30am Centenary cake cutting and morning tea
- 12.00pm Picnic lunch at Scout Hall - bring your hamper and rug, or order a packed lunch on registration
- 2.00pm Optional guided tour of Karori Wildlife Sanctuary (book on registration or at http://www.visitzealandia.com/Site/Zealandia_Home/Inside/Visit/Tours/Intro_Tour.aspx )
